Core Capability

ENGINEERING,
PROCUREMENT
& CONSTRUCTION

Every project Ametal delivers — whether a fuel tank farm, a marine vessel, or a commercial building — runs through the same three-pillar EPC model. This is what makes us an industrial contractor, not a builder.
01

ENGINEERING

Project planning, structural design coordination, and technical integration. International codes applied on every project class — from API-650 tanks to marine hulls.

  • Project planning & scope definition
  • Structural design coordination
  • Technical systems integration
  • HSE planning — ISO 45001
  • Engineering documentation
02

PROCUREMENT

International sourcing through direct supplier relationships built across 15 years in Turkey, China, and the UAE. Full logistics coordination to remote African sites.

  • International sourcing — Turkey · China · UAE
  • Logistics coordination
  • Supplier management & QA
  • Import & customs management
  • Last-mile site delivery
03

CONSTRUCTION

In-house steel fabrication yard in Juba. ASME Section IX qualified welding teams. Owned heavy equipment fleet. No critical systems subcontracted — ever.

  • Civil works & foundations
  • Steel fabrication & erection
  • Industrial installation
  • Mechanical & MEP works
  • Commissioning & handover

Company Story

FOUNDED IN
BAHRAIN.
BUILT FOR
AFRICA.

Founded in Bahrain in 2009, Ametal was built around one discipline: heavy steel engineering for energy and industrial clients. The founder, Volkan Tegen, brought 15 years of experience in industrial construction across Turkey, Qatar, and the Gulf.

In 2011, Ametal expanded its operations to Africa, incorporating in South Sudan and beginning what would become 14 years of continuous EPC delivery — from UN peacekeeping infrastructure to private sector commercial developments and marine fabrication on the Nile.

Today, Ametal delivers EPC services for energy infrastructure, marine logistics, and commercial construction projects across East Africa, with a global procurement network and in-house fabrication capability that operates where others won't.
